Sessions Octagonal Clock

Sessions Clock Setting Up Directions Sessions Wall Clock Sessions Wall Clock Plaque

I've inherited some years ago of my grand-pa's Sessions Octagonal Wall Clock. As long as I can remember, he would synchronize his watch with this clock. I don't know if he was the first owner but it is possible since he was born in 1893. For sure, he took good care of it. It is in my living room and still working.

I've looked on the internet to get more information on it but didn't find one like it.

It is a Sessions Wall Clock, octagonal with "Montreal" written on the pendulum door. Somebody wrote numbers behind it but I can't make anything about it.

I would appreciate any information about this clock that as been in the family for a long time. The attached pictures may be of help.

St. Clair
by: Bob Carter

Hi, I stand to be corrected (and probably will be), but I think what you have is called the "St. Clair". From memory, which does let me down now and again, the manufactured date of these clocks was sometime around 1900, so it sure is an old clock.

I think I'm right but as I said, I may not be so don't hold it against me!

Re Sessions clock
by: Dave Peters

Hi, nice clock, I have one very similar. I believe there is a book by a guy called "Tran Duy Ly" who has written a book called "Sessions Clocks". I don't know for sure but he is supposed to be the expert on Sessions clocks, so I would imagine that our clocks would be in that book.

I can't get hold of it at the moment but if you do manage to get hold of it maybe you could let me know here?

thanks
Dave
